Membership Dues & Financial Responsibilities

Alpha Sigma Pi Fraternity is committed to transparency, equity, and shared responsibility in all financial matters. Our financial structure supports the sustainability of the fraternity while ensuring that all members—regardless of financial background—have equitable access to full participation. Below is a clear outline of required dues, fees, and financial expectations for membership.

Chapter Dues

Chapter dues range from $300 to $500 per semester. These dues support the day-to-day operations of the fraternity, leadership development initiatives, educational programming, social activities, community service efforts, and essential organizational expenses that benefit the brotherhood as a whole.

New Member Fee

The New Member Fee is $200 total. Of this amount, $100 supports participation in the New Member Program, including educational materials and structured activities, while the remaining $100 covers required Alpha Sigma Pi attire. Providing attire ensures that all new members are equally prepared for official events and chapter representation. This approach promotes unity, visibility, and inclusion from the beginning of the membership experience.

Payment Schedule

All dues and fees require at least 50% of the total membership balance to be paid before the semester begins. The remaining balance may be paid during the academic semester under an approved payment arrangement with the Treasurer. This structure balances flexibility with accountability and allows for effective chapter planning. Members are strongly encouraged to communicate with the Treasurer early if they anticipate any financial challenges so appropriate arrangements can be made in a timely, respectful, and confidential manner.

Payment Plans & Financial Assistance

Alpha Sigma Pi Fraternity recognizes that members come from diverse financial circumstances and remains committed to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment. Payment plans and financial assistance may be available on a case-by-case basis. Members seeking support are encouraged to contact the Treasurer directly to discuss available options in a judgment-free and confidential setting.
